Over the last few weeks, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been entangled in a transfer saga over two players. Manuel Ugarte is linked to the Red Devils while Sancho is on the Parisians’ radar.

On Monday, FranceInfo reported that PSG and Manchester United are fast-tracking negotiations for Ugarte. According to the French outlet, the deal will be a permanent transfer, and PSG is ensuring they won’t take a financial hit compared to the €60 million they spent on him last year.

Recently, Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna reported that Sancho has always wanted to join PSG, and the reigning Ligue 1 champions have reportedly offered him €17 million gross per year.

The Guardian provided new information on this file, reporting that a Sancho transfer to PSG, whether linked to the Ugarte deal or not, is unlikely.

As for Ugarte, Manchester United is planning to wait until the last minute of the transfer window to try and lower PSG’s asking price. Manchester United could be receiving funds before the summer window closes.

Corriere dello Sport reports that Scott McTominay has agreed on personal terms with Napoli. It will be interesting to see what transpires in these final days and whether Manchester United does make a move for Ugarte.
