West Ham United’s pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain’s Carlos Soler has entered a crucial stage since the summer transfer window closes this week. However, one report reveals that a deal should get done.

Earlier this month, L’Equipe reported that West Ham United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Real Sociedad are keen on Soler. However, it appears the Hammers will be winning this race in this transfer saga.

Still, with a couple of days left anything can transpire, including a last-minute swoop. Recently, journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin revealed Thursday that Everton have joined West Ham in expressing strong interest in Soler.

Nonetheless, Diario AS reports that West Ham will be securing Soler as the Spanish media outlet reports that the 27-year-old’s transfer to West Ham is close to being finalized.

The Premier League club will land the Spaniard on loan with a mandatory purchase option set at £20 million. A move away from PSG is ideal for Soler as he attempts to get back on the radar of Spain manager Luis de la Fuente.

In the 2023-24 season, Soler made 26 appearances in all competitions for the French club, scoring once and contributing four assists.
