This week, Le Parisien revealed that Paris Saint-Germain aren’t looking to make a late move for Napoli’s star Victor Osimhen. However, on Thursday, new information revealed that the Parisians remain lurking.
Journalist Rudy Galetti reported this week that Chelsea have agreed on personal terms with Osimhen. The Blues are now ready to enter negotiations with Napoli for the Nigerian striker.
Still, PSG continues to be linked to the striker as The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg reported on Thursday that Chelsea are cautiously optimistic about landing Osimhen before Friday’s transfer deadline.
Steinberg adds that there’s a belief that he wants to go to Stamford Bridge and could be persuaded to agree to a deal within their wage structure, but competition from Saudi Arabia is still intense. The information concludes by noting that PSG also remains in the mix.

On Wednesday, RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reported that Al-Ahli are intensifying its efforts to sign Osimhen, with its latest proposal including a four-year contract and an annual salary of €30 million.
Since transferring from Ligue 1’s LOSC Lille to Napoli, the Nigerian international has netted 76 goals in 133 appearances, including 65 goals in Serie A. Osimhen was also pivotal in securing Napoli’s league title in the 2022-23 season.
