Paris Saint-Germain could be looking to bolster their attack before the summer transfer window closes. One player on the Parisians’ radar is Atalanta standout Ademola Lookman, but this file has conflicting reports.
On Friday, Ousmane Dembélé emphasized that the team will need to step up collectively to fill the gap left by Kylian Mbappé’s move to Real Madrid. As a result, it comes as no surprise that the capital club want one more winger to improve the attack.
Lookman has become a hot rumor this weekend as La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that PSG are keen on Lookman. However, other outlets also reported this information.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, PSG are seriously interested in Lookman, and a late offer could be on the cards as the transfer window nears its end. Repubblica also reported that Atalanta have set their price for Lookman at €55 million for any interested club keen on the player.

Journalist Matteo Moretto also reported that Lookman is eager to join PSG and is pushing for the move. Moretto adds that the club has ramped up its efforts, and discussions are underway with all parties involved. While PSG hasn’t made an official offer yet, negotiations could begin in the next few hours.

Still, this file does have conflicting information as RMC Sport’s Daniel Riolo reported on Sunday that Lookman will not be joining PSG. Lookman does have other suitors outside of the interest from the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

A recent report revealed that Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United have all expressed interest at one point. As a result, one of these Premier League clubs or perhaps another side could come in with a last-minute deal for the 26-year-old.
Lookman has been with Atalanta since 2022 and made 45 appearances last season while scoring 17 goals and recording 10 assists. Moreover, he scored a hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final, helping Atalanta defeat Bayer Leverkusen.
