This is the final week that West Ham United can secure Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler. Over the last few weeks, the Hammers have been linked to the 27-year-old and have reportedly taken the lead in this transfer file.
Diario AS recently reported that the Premier League side will secure Soler as the Spanish media outlet reports that the 27-year-old’s transfer to West Ham is nearly finalized.
Moreover, the English club would land the Spaniard on loan with a mandatory purchase option set at £20 million. However, until the player is holding up the kit, anything is possible in the transfer window.
The latest information comes from Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth, who reported on Monday that West Ham United are still hopeful of signing Soler.
Sheth adds that the Hammers are encouraged by his eagerness to make the move, and discussions are ongoing regarding the fee and structure of the deal.

A move away from PSG is ideal for Soler as he attempts to get back on the radar of Spain manager Luis de la Fuente ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In the 2023-24 season, Soler made 26 appearances in all competitions for the French club, scoring once and contributing four assists.
