Carlos Soler completed his move to West Ham United on Friday as the 27-year-old gets a fresh start with the Premier League side. Moreover, the player is also excited about this opportunity to reignite his career in London.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday that Soler will join the Premier League club on loan, with an option to buy included in the deal with PSG. Furthermore, West Ham will cover his salary as part of the agreement.
Once the transfer became official, Soler shared his first words upon joining the Hammers as he looks to be a key contributor this 2024-25 season.
“I am really excited to be here as a West Ham player,” Soler told the club’s official website. “It has always been a dream of mine to play in the Premier League, and to be doing it in London with a Club like West Ham is an incredible feeling.
“I can’t wait to feel the support of the fans, who I have already heard so much about from conversations with people who know the Club, like my good friend Pablo Fornals. I am excited about meeting my new team-mates and giving my all for this Club in the best league in the world.”
Leaving PSG would be a wise move for Soler as he looks to catch the attention of Spain manager Luis de la Fuente before the 2026 FIFA World Cup. During the 2023-24 season, Soler played 26 games across all competitions for the French club, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
I wanna believe all that’s been said about Carlos Solar, but i cant help but think why hes not a regular player for PSG seeing as there top of the league ??? but i cant wait to see just how good he is. i just hope July doesn’t give him a first game before all our other new arrivals. i am really excited about our team now and i hope they all hit the ground runnng and gel together. i know i shouldn’t but i’m gonna say it anyway, we look really strong in all departments now and i really think if they do all gel after a couple of weeks we could make the ”Top-Four” yea okay. i know what your all thinking. but just remember this at the end of the season.
