Paris Saint-Germain have yet to land a center-back this summer to help bolster their defense. However, there’s a new file that the Parisians are looking at after missing out on players like Leny Yoro and Dean Huijsen.
The reigning champions have been linked to various central defenders this summer transfer window to help improve the position. Still, the capital club have yet to act and finalize a deal.
With a few weeks left until the window closes, PSG might be hitting overdrive to ensure they land a defender. According to Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, PSG are looking to make a move for Willian Pacho.
The French club are actively engaged in discussions with Eintracht Frankfurt to reach an agreement, and the defender is open to the idea of joining PSG. Nonetheless, if the Parisians make a move for the Ecuadorian player, they face competition.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in Pacho as a possible replacement for Joel Matip and are prepared to offer around £50 million to bring him on board this summer. It will be interesting to see which of these two clubs secures the player or if another team comes in for a swoop.
