Nottingham Forest, PSG Suffer Blow as Key Transfer Target Suffers Serious Injury

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly looking for another left-back to add more depth behind Nuno Mendes. This week, the rumor of the capital club being keen on Stade Brestois’ Bradley Locko, but this potential move has gone away.

Locko made 35 appearances for Brest, registering three assists as he played a role in Brest’s impressive 2023-24 season that saw them clinch an automatic UEFA Champions League spot for this campaign.

As a result, it came as no surprise that players like Locko are garnering interest from top clubs. PSG wasn’t the only club eyeing the 22-year-old this summer transfer window.

The Stade Brestois defender is also on the radar of Premier League side Nottingham Forest. However, a move to England’s top flight or to the French capital won’t be happening.

Brest announced on Friday that Locko suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon during their training session. The Ligue 1 side didn’t offer a timetable for his return in their announcement via Twitter.

This news means that PSG will have to look elsewhere to bolster their left-back position to have the depth needed to compete in all three competitions this season.
