Manchester United’s £45M-Rated Star’s Situation Remains Open Amid PSG Interest, Romano Reports

Over the last few days, reports have emerged that Paris Saint-Germain are looking to sign winger Jadon Sancho to strengthen its attack for the upcoming season. However, Manchester United are not looking to simply offload the player.

A recent report from Sports Zone mentioned that PSG has agreed on personal terms with the 24-year-old. However, it also noted that Sancho isn’t PSG’s primary target and that Manchester United is asking for €60 million for him.

Moreover, despite Sancho’s riff with manager Erik ten Hag, the two might have mended their fences. According to The Athletic, ten Hag is thinking about using Sancho and Bruno Fernandes as strikers to address Manchester United’s attacking problems.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United wants an important offer to let Jadon Sancho leave: somewhere in the region of €46 million to €52 million (£40 million to £45 million).

PSG spoke to Sancho’s agents weeks ago but they never reached out to the Premier League club so far to open talks. His situation is still open for this summer.

Sancho spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he played a key role in helping the team reach the UEFA Champions League final.

Last season, the English winger played 24 matches for both Manchester United and Dortmund, scoring three goals and getting three assists.
