On Wednesday, information regarding the future of Manuel Ugarte surfaced courtesy of a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. However, a departure to Manchester United appears to be complicated.
Romano recently shared that PSG are open to loaning Ugarte, but they want a mandatory purchase clause included. Their preference is for a permanent transfer or a loan that comes with an obligation to buy.
Ugarte has already settled on personal terms with Manchester United and is now waiting for the two clubs to wrap up the agreement. Moreover, Romano shared that the Uruguayan is expected to leave the French giants.
L’Equipe reports that Manchester United is struggling to reach an agreement with PSG over Ugarte. The Parisians want to protect their €60 million investment and are open to a paid loan with a high option to buy.

Moreover, CaughtOffside recently reported, citing sources, that Manchester United are interested in PSV Eindhoven’s 25-year-old midfielder, Joey Veerman.
As a result, the Premier League club could consider alternative targets if it cannot agree to terms with PSG over a transfer fee.
