Manchester United, PSG Could Explore Player Swap Involving Two Key Targets, Report Says

The Jadon Sancho to Paris Saint-Germain transfer saga has taken another turn. As the summer transfer window winds down, rumors are heating up, with a potential player swap now being discussed.

Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna reported on Tuesday that Sancho has always wanted to join PSG, and the reigning Ligue 1 champions have reportedly offered him €17 million gross per year.

Additionally, The Telegraph’s Jason Burt shared an update on the rumor, reporting that PSG are unlikely to pursue Sancho since he’s not currently in their plans.

While a report out of England reveals that a Sancho to PSG move is bleak, more information surfaces that a deal could be happening. Journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin reports that PSG and Manchester United might explore a swap deal involving Manuel Ugarte and Sancho.

Still, the Parisians’ current demands seem a little high for the Red Devils at the moment. Last season, Sancho played in 24 matches for Manchester United and Dortmund, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

Sancho spent the latter part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he was instrumental in their journey to the UEFA Champions League final.
