Man Utd Omission from Fulham Match Leaves Chelsea, PSG Target’s Future in Limbo

Jadon Sancho rumors could be heating up in the final stages of the summer transfer window. The Englishman is linked to Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, with recent developments on Friday showing that an exit could be near.

On Thursday, Marc Mechenoua of Le Parisien reported that the reigning Ligue 1 champions are still interested in Manchester United’s star, Sancho. PSG has been in contact with his representatives since the start of the summer, though they haven’t made an official offer to United yet.

Before making a move for Sancho, PSG plan to finalize the sale of Manuel Ugarte. However, on Friday, Fussball reported that Chelsea and the 24-year-old forward have made significant progress in their talks.

Chelsea are reportedly prepared to offer Manchester United a deal that includes a transfer fee along with two of their academy players. Another option for the London club is a loan deal for Sancho, with an obligation to buy while covering his full salary.

On Friday, Manchester United defeated Fulham 1-0, but one of the storylines before the contest was Sancho not being part of the squad. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that his future remains more open than ever.

Sancho spent the latter part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he was instrumental in their journey to the UEFA Champions League final.

Last season, Sancho played in 24 matches for  Manchester United and Dortmund, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
