English Players PSG Should Consider Signing

We all know that the English Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world, if not the best, and this summer,  England reached the finals of the UEFA European Championship in Germany. There’s a lot of talent in the league and Paris Saint-Germain would be wise to identify talent to bring to the Parc des Princes.

The last English player to suit up for PSG was David Beckham way back in 2013. It’s been more than a decade since Beckham received a standing ovation from PSG supporters and now is the time to send betters to UK betting sites not on gamstop by bringing a noteworthy English player to the French capital.

Josh Acheampong

At 18 years old, Josh Acheampong would be a project should PSG make a move for the right-back. The London-born player currently plays for Chelsea’s Under-21 squad and has been making noise with his stellar play. PSG would be interested because he not only fits the profile of the players they want to sign in the post-Kylian Mbappé-era, but Luis Enrique needs depth in the defensive back line, especially at right-back. Acheampong could learn under Achraf Hakimi, one of the best right-backs in Europe, and we’ve seen how well players like Bradley Barcola have developed under Luis Enrique.

Jadon Sancho

If there’s an English player who is closest to signing with PSG, it’s Jadon Sancho. The 24-year-old winger was sent out on loan last January from Manchester United to Borussia Dortmund, where he helped the German side reach the UEFA Champions League final. Sancho doesn’t seem to be in Manchester United’s long-term plans, and PSG has been trying to reinforce the left side of its attack all summer. If PSG can get the Red Devils to agree to their transfer fee, Sancho could be on his way to Paris this summer.

Marc Guéhi

PSG’s defense has been a concern for some time now. The club has tried to address it with several signings, including Lucas Beraldo and Milan Škriniar, but those players haven’t reached the level that PSG had hoped for. Willian Pacho is the most recent center-back signing and will likely be paired with Marquinhos this upcoming season, but PSG could further strengthen the middle of its defense with Marc Guéhi from Crystal Palace. The England international came up through Chelsea’s youth academy and has seen his transfer value increase over the last few years. With his contract set to expire in 2026, Crystal Palace may entertain offers this summer in order to maximize their return.

Noni Madueke

Another winger PSG may consider signing is Noni Madueke from Chelsea. The 22-year-old came up through the PSV Eindhoven system and made the jump to the Premier League in January of 2023. Last season with the Blues, Madueke scored five goals in 23 Premier League appearances. With the lack of Champions League football and the competition for minutes, especially with the rumored signing of Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Madueke may be able to force an exit and entertain a move to PSG.
