On Monday, Le Parisien reported that Paris Saint-Germain have no intention of pursuing a late transfer window for Napoli standout Victor Osimhen. This bodes well for a club like Chelsea, which might be on the verge of landing the Nigerian.
Last week, Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Osimhen’s future will be resolved in the coming days as the summer transfer window closes—whether he ends up at PSG, Chelsea, Saudi Arabia, or elsewhere.
Nonetheless, if the reporting is accurate, the 25-year-old’s next destination should be Stamford Bridge. According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Chelsea have reached an agreement on personal terms with Osimhen.
The information also reveals that the Blues are now prepared to negotiate with Napoli for the Nigerian striker. Despite earlier interest, a move to Saudi Arabia is no longer an option, as the teams involved have dropped out of the race.

Since transferring from Ligue 1’s LOSC Lille to Napoli, the Nigerian international has netted 76 goals in 133 appearances, including 65 goals in Serie A. Osimhen was also pivotal in securing Napoli’s league title in the 2022-23 season.
