Barcelona’s Two Major Concerns Arise in Pursuit of PSG Target, Report Says

Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman could be on the move in the coming weeks, with the summer transfer window closing soon. The Frenchman is on the radar of clubs like FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, but the Spanish side does have a couple of concerns.

Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sport Germany recently shared that Bayern Munich is open to the idea of letting Kingsley Coman leave on loan, possibly with an option or obligation to buy, and that talks with PSG are currently in progress.

Additionally, Sky Sports News reported this week that Barcelona are considering Coman as a backup option if they can’t secure Nico Williams. Manager Hansi Flick has great respect for the former PSG youth player.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona has some serious concerns about bringing in Coman, mainly due to his injury history. The 28-year-old French international missed 20 games last season due to four different injuries.

Another factor for Barcelona to consider is his salary, which is on par with what he makes at Bayern Munich. The German side would be open to a loan if they can’t find a buyer. Overall, Coman is a potentially good option for Barcelona, but there are some reservations.
