Julian Álvarez could be on his way out of Manchester City as the Argentine looks for a more prominent role. Moreover, Álvarez is linked to Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Atlético Madrid, and Chelsea.
TyC Sports’ Gastón Edul revealed this weekend that PSG have submitted an offer to Manchester City for Álvarez. Their bid is notably higher than Atletico Madrid’s offer for both the club and the player. Despite this, the La Liga team still holds a slight advantage due to their location.
Nonetheless, Arsenal aren’t looking to be left behind and a latest report reveals where the Gunners stand in the race to land the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner. According to the Sunday Mirror, Arsenal is considering a move for Álvarez.
However, the London-based club may need to make additional sales to fund his purchase, as Manchester City is asking for around €80 million to €90 million.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Álvarez’s agent will be in Europe next week to discuss his future with Manchester City. The reigning Premier League champions may allow Álvarez to leave if he expresses the desire to go.
Still, the English side will only allow the player to leave for a significant fee, as they won’t entertain bids in the €40 million to €50 million range. Moreover, PSG and Atlético Madrid have been in contact with Álvarez’s agent since June.
