Manchester United have reportedly tabled a £42 million bid for LOSC Lille defender Leny Yoro. The young defender is attracting interest from several top clubs, including Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.

Le Parisien recently reported that PSG and Liverpool are almost ruled out of the race for Yoro, as he looks set to choose between Real Madrid or Manchester United this summer.

Despite the Red Devils’ interest in the defender, transfer window expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Real Madrid are staying cool and collected about the Yoro situation despite Manchester United’s bid.

They know Yoro prefers to join them, so they plan to secure the deal this summer under their terms, keeping it under €60 million, or wait until June 2025 to sign him as a free agent.

L’Equipe provided the latest on this file, noting that Yoro isn’t enthusiastic about joining Manchester United. He’s more inclined towards PSG, but his top priority is to join Real Madrid.

His agent, Jorge Mendes, is actively advocating for a move to Madrid. Sources close to Yoro suggest he’s beginning to feel concerned about his future.

Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Manchester United are hopeful that Yoro will commit to them soon. The Red Devils are prepared to offer Lille a fixed fee of €40 million to €50 million for Yoro and sign the player to a contract until 2029 with an option for an additional year.
