On Monday, rumors started floating around that Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing Manchester United’s winger Jadon Sancho and midfielder Bruno Fernandes. However, the information concerning the Portuguese standout might have been overstated.
Since the initial report from L’Equipe, several outlets have added more information that cools any PSG interest in Fernandes. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that the Parisians are not pursuing a deal for Fernandes at the moment; there are no ongoing negotiations or talks about him.
Moreover, Romano noted that PSG have shown some interest in Fernandes, but it’s unlikely to progress beyond that. The 29-year-old Portuguese midfielder is considered too expensive for the Parisians’ summer plans and is not a priority target for the club.
ESPN’s Rob Dawson and Julien Laurens reported that the information about Fernandes moving to PSG was exaggerated. It would take a massive offer for Manchester United to consider letting him go.

Nonetheless, the rumors linking Sancho to the French capital appear to have weight and it will be interesting to see if the Englishman does move to PSG to bolster their attack.
