Over the last few days, Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has been linked to a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain. Nonetheless, the Englishman is being criticized as he could depart this summer.

Over the weekend, Sports Zone reported that Paris Saint-Germain and Jadon Sancho have agreed on personal terms. While Sancho isn’t PSG’s top priority, it seems they are considering him as a backup option.

The 24-year-old is currently back with the Red Devils on their summer tour in the United States. Soon, the Premier League team will need to decide what to do with him.

Still, talkSPORT’s Rory Jennings discusses why Sancho might not have a future at Manchester United following his clash with manager Erik ten Hag.

“Jadon Sancho should never play for Manchester United again,” Jennings said on the English outlet. “Like, that’s what should happen. When Manchester United were a team that were at the very top and they demanded excellence from everyone at the club, they had standards, and those standards needed to be met. And if they weren’t met, they would be punished by the highest penalties…

“The fact that Jadon Sancho totally disrespected the Manchester United manager off the back of the Manchester United manager, actually doing an awful lot for Sancho, is shocking. And then, I think the jewel in the crown of the rude approach from Sancho was pinning a statement to the top of his social media page [and] doubling down on it.

“He didn’t say sorry, he took it to social media, which is incredibly unedifying anyway, these conversations do not need to be placed on social media. They certainly don’t need to be pinned to the top of your social media page for the world to see, because it’s incredibly disrespectful to the office of United manager.”

Last season, the Englishman played 24 total matches between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund while scoring three goals and registering three assists.

Sancho spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he played a key role in their run to the UEFA Champions League final. PSG had a close look at his talents during their semifinal clash with Dortmund, which could be why they’re now interested in signing him.
