The Paris Saint-Germain midfield could add another veteran voice as the capital club reignites its interest in Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich. PSG have already contacted the Bundesliga side to get the ball rolling on a potential transfer.

Kimmich has one year left on his contract, and if the midfielder chooses not to renew, now is Bayern Munich’s last chance to secure a fee for the player. As a result, the capital club could be looking to lure the player away from the German side.

According to Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna, PSG are considering bringing in another midfielder besides João Neves. They’ve contacted Bayern Munich about Kimmich, inquiring about transfer details and salary terms. It’s still unclear if PSG will pursue this move further.

Moreover, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that PSG are really interested in Joshua Kimmich and have let Bayern Munich know about it. Club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and manager Luis Enrique are keen on bringing Kimmich on board, either this summer or as a free agent in 2025.

However, there are no concrete negotiations happening at the moment. As a result, it will be interesting to see if the Parisians can land the veteran midfielder who is also reportedly linked to FC Barcelona.
