Stade Rennais’ Désiré Doué is likely aware of the strong interest he’s drawing from top European clubs. He should be deciding his future soon whether it’s during or after the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Reports from last month indicate that Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in the young talent from Stade Rennais.
With several top European clubs in the mix for Doué, the Parisians are looking to make an aggressive push to ensure the young talent stays in France. Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that PSG are prepared to spend nearly €60 million on Doué.
Club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is personally involved in the negotiations, and the French giants are confident they can convince Doué to join them.

Doué had an impressive 2023-24 season, playing in 43 games across all competitions and tallying four goals and six assists for Rennes. Moreover, his stock could rise further with a strong showing for France.
Tottenham expert John Wenham believes that the Frenchman fits the profile that the Premier League side are pursuing in terms of young players who have yet to scratch their potential.
“I think this signing would fit in with the obvious strategy at the club of signing the most exciting young talent around,” Wenham said.
