Bayern Munich is reportedly plotting a bold move to land Désiré Doué and Xavi Simons. Their decision to secure the French talent could lead Paris Saint-Germain to act fast.
Recent June reports suggest that Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Tottenham Hotspur are all reportedly interested in the Stade Rennais youngster.
Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg recently reported that Bayern Munich are in advanced talks with Rennes and Doué, but PSG is still in the race for the teenager. The information also reveals that the German club will make a second offer soon to Rennes.
According to Foot Mercato, PSG have put in a bid of €40 million plus €10 million in add-ons for Doué. However, Rennes is holding out for €50 million plus add-ons. Negotiations are still ongoing.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Doué will choose his preferred club in the coming days. PSG has already made an initial offer and will continue negotiations and Bayern Munich will also make another attempt.

Doué had a standout 2023-24 season, playing in 43 games and racking up four goals and six assists in all competitions for Rennes. The player’s stock could increase even more should he have a great participation for France at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
