The Leny Yoro saga reportedly ended on Wednesday. The LOSC Lille defender will be heading to join Manchester United rather than Real Madrid as many believed—details about this saga surface with the teenager heading to Old Trafford.
On Monday, a report from Foot Mercato revealed that some members of Yoro’s entourage favor his joining Manchester United. His agent has initiated contractual negotiations with the Red Devils to complete the deal, and both sides seem to have reached an agreement.
From Paris Saint-Germain’s perspective, L’Equipe’s Loïc Tanzi reports that manager Luis Enrique wants a left-footed center-back, which is why the Parisians were in the race for Yoro.
However, Tanzi’s reporting also reveals that PSG have never offered more than €35 million plus €5 million in add-ons for Yoro (though it was not an official bid). Regardless, PSG wouldn’t have gone above €45 million, which is still well below Manchester United’s €62 million bid.
In recent days, Luis Enrique has raised the idea of signing a left-footed centre-back this summer.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Red Devils will pay €50 million plus add-ons for the Lille youngster. Last season, Yoro made 44 total appearances for the Ligue 1 side, scoring three goals in the process.
