Manchester United Secure Personal Terms Agreement with PSG Midfielder, Fabrizio Romano Reports

With the 2024 Copa América wrapped up, the focus on Manuel Ugarte is likely to heat up. The Uruguayan midfielder is catching Manchester United’s eye, so expect the situation to pick up pace.

This week, journalist Jamie Jackson reported that Erik ten Hag is still keen on signing Ugarte to strengthen Manchester United’s midfield. The report also mentioned that the club values Ugarte at £38 million and might consider a loan deal.

Additionally, L’Equipe provided new details indicating that Manchester United is preparing to make a renewed offer for Ugarte in the coming days.

Now that the Red Devils have secured LOSC Lille Leny Yoro, they’re likely all focused on getting Ugarte. According to transfer experience Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Manuel Ugarte, and talks will continue with PSG over a fee.

Romano adds that contract terms were discussed, and the player is keen on moving to United even without Champions League football.

A few days ago, journalist Ben Jacobs shared his information, revealing that while Manchester United and Bayern Munich have shown interest, their offers haven’t come close to PSG’s €60 million asking price for Ugarte.

Now it seems talks might be getting serious to determine if both parties can agree on a transfer fee.
