Last week, reports emerged saying Paris Saint-Germain are looking to sign winger Jadon Sancho to strengthen its attack for the upcoming season. Moreover, this weekend, the capital club has reportedly made one step to secure the winger.

Foot Mercato first reported that PSG have extended a contract offer to Sancho, with negotiations progressing smoothly. The 24-year-old winger is excited about PSG’s plans. However, he is also attracting interest from Dortmund and Juventus.

Moreover, this past weekend, Sports Zone reported that Sancho and PSG have reached an agreement in principle on personal terms. Despite this agreement, the Englishman is not their primary target with Manchester United demanding €60 million for the player.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared his information regarding what he’s hearing on the Sancho file.

“This pre-season tour is really important for Jadon Sancho, the feeling they will have on and off the pitch, so it’s on Man United now,” Romano told Give Me Sport.

“They have to decide what they want to do, and then we will understand the future of Sancho. But at the moment, it really depends on the club and also on the manager, and the feeling he will have with the player.”

Sancho spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he played a key role in helping the team reach the UEFA Champions League final. PSG got a good look at his abilities during their semifinal clash against Dortmund.

In total, the English winger played 24 matches last season across both Manchester United and Dortmund, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
