Man Utd Seek to ‘Preserve’ Winger’s Transfer Value by Including Him in Summer Tour Amid PSG Links

On Sunday, Sports Zone reported that Paris Saint-Germain and Jadon Sancho have reached an agreement on personal terms. Although the Manchester United winger isn’t their primary target, the Parisians are probably keeping this option as a backup.

Sancho was on loan at Borussia Dortmund for the second half of the 2023-24 season, playing a crucial role in helping the German club reach the UEFA Champions League final. PSG had a close-up view of his skills during their semifinal match against Dortmund.

Moreover, the 24-year-old is also traveling with the Premier League club on their summer tour in the United States after manager Erik ten Hag said they’ve “drawn a line” under their differences.

TalkSPORT’s chief football correspondent Alex Crook stated last Wednesday that he believes Sancho is currently with the Red Devils due to financial reasons.

“I think a big part of the reason that Jadon Sancho has been reintegrated is not necessarily because he seems the first team regular by Eric ten Hag is in order to preserve that transfer value,” Crook said on the English outlet.

“And the latest information we have is that if PSG are willing to make an offer, if they’re willing to pay £40 million, then United could well be willing to part the company with Jadon Sancho, which for me, I think is probably the best for all concerned.”

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also reported that Sancho will be a key focus for Manchester United in the coming weeks as they decide his future with the club. PSG has shown interest in Sancho, placing him on their shortlist.
