Manchester United have reportedly made a £42 million bid for LOSC Lille defender Leny Yoro. The teenage defender is on various top teams’ radars such as Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Real Madrid appears to be Yoro’s preferred destination, and with Lille needing to sell the player this summer, considering the youngster’s contract expires in 2025, the Spanish side has leverage.
Nonetheless, the Red Devils appear to be testing that leverage with their proposal. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have made a proposal to Yoro after agreeing to a fee with Lille.
The Premier League team won’t wait much longer—Yoro needs to give his answer soon. Meanwhile, Lille’s president, Olivier Létang, is urging him to join Manchester United.

Romano recently mentioned that Real Madrid are staying calm about the Yoro situation, even with Manchester United’s offer. They know Yoro wants to join them, so they plan to secure the deal this summer for under €60 million or wait until June 2025 to sign him as a free agent.
