Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for Juventus center-back Dean Huijsen, who spent last season on loan at AS Roma, to bolster their defense.
A few days ago, Tuttosport reported that Huijsen has agreed to join PSG, signing a contract until 2029. PSG initially offered €20 million, but Juventus thinks this amount is too low and is looking for at least €30 million.
TuttoJuve.com also recently mentioned that PSG and Bayern Munich have made significant progress in their negotiations.
Dortmund, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leverkusen, Leipzig, and Stuttgart are all keeping a close eye on the defender’s situation. Moreover, Huijsen’s camp are actively working to finalize the deal, and the capital club are preparing a new offer to Juventus.
RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins provided new information on this file where the Serie A side might be willing to compromise on their asking price. According to Hawkins, PSG are now focusing on Huijsen as their new center-back since Leny Yoro is no longer an option.
However, the Parisians are reluctant to meet Juventus’s €30 million asking price. To make the deal work, Juventus are looking for a player to be included in the transaction.

Nonetheless, Hawkins doesn’t reveal which player the Serie A side are keen on having in a potential deal. Huijsen played 26 matches for Roma last season during his loan stint, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
