Stade Rennais’ Désiré Doué is likely aware of the strong interest he’s drawing from top European clubs. However, a decision on his future will need to wait.
Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked to the Stade Rennais youngster this summer transfer window.
With so many top European clubs vying for Doué, the reigning Ligue 1 champions are making a strong effort to keep the talented player in France.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Doué is currently focused on the Olympics, which is why he hasn’t made a quick decision yet. While a decision could come this week, it’s not certain.
Both Bayern Munich and PSG are pressing for him. Moreover, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has stepped in to persuade Doué and his advisors, showing that the Parisian club is really pushing hard right now.

Journalist Ben Jacobs recently revealed that PSG are prepared to spend nearly €60 million on Doué. Additionally, the French giants are confident they can convince the teenager to join them.
Doué had an impressive 2023-24 season, playing in 43 games across all competitions and tallying four goals and six assists for Rennes. Moreover, his stock could rise further with a strong showing for France.
