Last week, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Napoli and Romelu Lukaku have reached an agreement on personal terms. The Chelsea striker is expected to earn €6 million per season over a three-year contract, with additional bonuses.

Moreover, Lukaku is supposed to replace Victor Osimhen. With reports once again linking the Nigerian to Paris Saint-Germain, the Serie A team likely had to prepare for a replacement striker.

However, reports now suggest that this interest has gone cold. Le10Sport reported that PSG currently has no plans to recruit a new No. 9.

Luis Enrique is set to start the 2024-2025 season with Gonçalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani. Unless one of them leaves, Paris won’t be looking to fill this position.

The Athletic (h/t The Mirror) are reporting that Antonio Conte and Lukaku could reunite this summer. Lukaku, who thrived under Conte at Inter Milan, has struggled since his high-profile move to Chelsea.

After a loan spell back in Italy, he might be heading to Napoli to join Conte once again, although there’s also interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
