Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich is reportedly considering a club switch this summer. Recent rumors have linked the 28-year-old with a move to FC Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Sky Sport’s Dharmesh Sheth, Barcelona, and an unnamed Premier League club are interested in the 28-year-old. Coman currently earns €15 million gross per year, so it will be interesting to see if he gets similar wages should he leave.
However, this week’s report from L’Equipe revealed that Coman could contemplate retirement after a terrible experience at UEFA Euro 2024. This experience has left him feeling ‘scarred’ and questioning his future with the national team.
Moreover, Coman has never envisioned a prolonged career in professional football. Nonetheless, the German club want to sell the player this summer.
L’Equipe also reports that Bayern Munich are looking to offload Coman this summer due to concerns over his injury history, high salary, and his exclusion from Vincent Kompany’s upcoming season plans.
Bayern Munich club chief Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are open to letting Coman go for €50-60 million.
