Paris Saint-Germain’s Xavi Simons’ future isn’t in the French capital and it seems a return to RB Leipzig is looming. As a result, this news isn’t ideal for clubs like Bayern Munich and Manchester United, who have been linked to the youngster in recent weeks.
Simons took to Instagram and posted a cryptic message, saying, “Not every closed door is locked. Push.” This only adds to the mystery surrounding his short-term and long-term plans, especially if he returns to Leipzig on a loan deal.
The latest information comes from Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who reports that Simons has decided to stay at RB Leipzig. PSG and Leipzig are finalizing the last details for a new one-year loan – Bayern Munich have been informed about the decision and set to focus on Désiré Doué.

Kicker recently relayed the words of RB Leipzig president Johann Plenge, who sounded optimistic about a deal, which now appears to be occurring.
“For now, I cannot promise that he will resume training after the American tour in Leipzig,” Plenge said. “But I can promise you that we will have done everything to ensure he stays in Leipzig.”
