Simons took to Instagram and posted a cryptic message, saying, “Not every closed door is locked. Push.” This only adds to the mystery surrounding his short-term and long-term plans, especially if he returns to Leipzig on a loan deal.

The latest information comes from Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who reports that Simons has decided to stay at RB Leipzig. PSG and Leipzig are finalizing the last details for a new one-year loanBayern Munich have been informed about the decision and set to focus on Désiré Doué.

Kicker recently relayed the words of RB Leipzig president Johann Plenge, who sounded optimistic about a deal, which now appears to be occurring.
