Manchester United signed Leny Yoro from LOSC Lille this summer to strengthen their defense. Now, the question is how this move might affect their interest in Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt.
Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg recently reported that negotiations between Manchester United and Bayern Munich for de Ligt have gone cold.
The Red Devils are hesitant to meet the Bundesliga side’s demand of €50 million plus bonuses, and so far, the two sides remain far apart on a deal as neither club is giving in on their stance.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayern Munich are insisting on €50 million guaranteed for de Ligt while Manchester United are willing to offer around €35 million plus add-ons.

If both these sides are at a standstill, can PSG swoop in as they need to improve their center-back position Leny Yoro and Dean Huijsen were players the Parisians were reportedly keen on and are heading elsewhere.
Last month, RMC Sport reported that PSG are very interested in de Ligt, who is under contract with Bayern until 2027, and see him as a crucial addition to their team.
