Paris Saint-Germain will lose Xavi Simons on a loan deal this summer and permanently in 2025. The 21-year-old has reportedly decided on his future now that his UEFA Euro 2024 campaign with the Netherlands ended in the semifinals.
Last month, L’Equipe reported that Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Manchester City have all contacted PSG to explore the possibility of signing Simons this summer.
Moreover, a few days ago, information from SPORT revealed that Simons will discuss his decision with manager Luis Enrique. Nonetheless, if these two did have a conversation, it didn’t change the Dutch star’s decision.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, PSG and Xavi Simons are 99% certain to part ways: he has chosen to leave on loan this summer and is likely to depart permanently from the Parisians in 2025.

This news is ideal for clubs like Bayer Munich and Manchester United. Bayern Munich have been aggressively pushing to land the 21-year-old who spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig while Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is considering a loan move for Simons.
During his loan spell at RB Leipzig, Simons made a significant impact, featuring in 43 matches across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and registering 15 assists.
