Last month, L’Equipe reported that Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Manchester City have all contacted PSG to explore the possibility of signing Simons this summer.
Additionally, reports this month have revealed that Bayern Munich are actively pushing for the 21-year-old, who recently completed a loan spell at RB Leipzig, while Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is contemplating a loan deal for Simons.
Journalist Bruno Salomon reports that Bayern Munich is speeding things up in negotiations for Simons. The Bundesliga side has made Xavi their number one priority—Désiré Doué is Bayern Munich’s Plan B in case they fail to get Simons.

Earlier this month, Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sport Germany reported that Bayern Munich is preparing to submit a loan offer that includes an obligation to buy, with the transfer fee expected to be between €60 million and €70 million.
During his loan spell at RB Leipzig, Simons made a significant impact, featuring in 43 matches across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and registering 15 assists.
