Williams has caught the eye of several top European clubs this summer as they look to bolster their attacks. His impressive performance at UEFA Euro 2024, where he played a key role in Spain’s victory, has significantly increased his value.
CaughtOffside reported last month that Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen on Williams.
The latest information comes from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who reports that Barcelona continue to wait for Williams’ decision. Premier League clubs and PSG are also keeping a close watch, though there’s a sense he may prefer to stay in Spain.
Romano adds that Athletic Club have already put together an offer with a higher salary if he chooses to remain. A final decision is expected soon.

Last season, Williams made 37 appearances across all competitions for Athletic Club, scoring eight goals and registering 19 assists. Additionally, the winger played a role in winning the 2024 Copa del Rey.
