Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to bolster their defense this summer transfer window, and many targets are surfacing. Among the latest to come out is Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori; however, there’s conflicting information on this file.
On Tuesday, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported that PSG have recently started pursuing Calafiori, showing a keen interest in him. Arsenal is leading the race to sign him right now, but Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen are also in the mix.

Nonetheless, transfer window expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal made a long-term offer to Calafiori after showing interest last week. The player is open to joining the Gunners if they can reach an agreement with Bologna.
According to Romano, Arsenal and Chelsea are the only two clubs currently in talks with the 22-year-old center-back. Moreover, Sports Zone reports that Calafiori has agreed to personal terms with Arsenal.

It will be interesting to see if PSG make any last-minute swoop for the player, especially if goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma can sway his teammate on the national team. Last season, Calafiori made 37 appearances while scoring two goals and registering five assists.
Is Jorginho not also his team mate?
