‘They’ll Dominate Europe’ – PSG Star’s Real Madrid Arrival Will Spark Era of Supremacy, Ex-Player Says

Real Madrid won their sixth UEFA Champions League trophy in 10 years on Saturday night at Wembley Stadium, defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0. Moreover, with the addition of Kylian Mbappé, one pundit believes the Spanish club are gearing up for another decade of dominance.

Mbappé will be joining the La Liga team as a free agent, and it’s reported that the Frenchman’s arrival will be announced this week, with the presentation coming in July due to the player’s participation in UEFA Euro 2024.

Former French footballer Christian Karembeu spoke on Europe 1 and he predicts a long run of dominance for the foreseeable future now that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is part of the squad.

“Yesterday, I was hanging out with a bunch of legends, and we talked about Kylian Mbappé possibly joining Real Madrid,” Karembeu said (h/t Le10Sport). “If Kylian signs with Real, they’ll dominate Europe for the next five years, no doubt.

“Just think about their attack: Vinicius Jr., Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, [Federico] Valverde, [Eduardo] Camavinga, and [Aurélien] Tchouaméni. Add Kylian to that mix, and it’s game over for everyone else.”

Mbappé will have to hit the ground running and win the Champions League in Year 1; anything short of that will see him face criticism, considering the team he’s joining is coming off winning the competition this year.
