PSG Rival Bayern Munich in Bid for Juventus Youngster Fresh from Roma Loan Spell

Paris Saint-Germain could have two young central defenders next season to help anchor the position. Last January transfer window, the Parisians landed Lucas Beraldo, and this summer, they are reportedly keen on a young defender.

Recently, LOSC Lille standout Leny Yoro has reportedly informed interested clubs such as PSG that he intends to move to Real Madrid. As a result, the reigning Ligue 1 champions have to look at other options to improve the center-back position.

According to L’Equipe, the Parisians could be heading to Italy for an alternative target to inject more youth into their defense for next season.

The French media outlet reports that PSG are seriously considering signing Dean Huijsen, Juventus’ center-back who spent last season on loan at AS Roma. The potential transfer fee is estimated at around €20 million. PSG values his athleticism, height, age, and dual-footed playing ability.

Still, PSG aren’t alone in this race as Tuttomercatoweb reports that Huijsen has attracted interest from Stuttgart, Bayern Munich, and Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. These three clubs have been keeping a close eye on him and think he has the talent to significantly contribute to their teams.
