PSG Out? Arsenal and Liverpool Latest Clubs in the Race for Bayern Munich Veteran

Paris Saint-Germain could be out in the sweepstakes to land Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich. The Parisians have been linked to the veteran standout, but it seems that the German international has other plans for his future.

It was reported that Kimmich would’ve met with Bayern Munich’s board last month to discuss his future. Since the 29-year-old hasn’t made any progress on a new deal with the Bundesliga side, the club might have to consider selling him.

Sky Sports’ Kerry Hau reports that if Kimmich ever leaves Bayern Munich, he’d likely move to a top club such as Man City, Barcelona, Real Madrid, or maybe even Liverpool or Arsenal.

With no mention of PSG, it’s likely that the capital club isn’t a serious contender for the Bayern Munich star. Kimmich played in 43 matches during the 2023-24 season with Bayern Munich, managing to score two goals and provide 10 assists for the Bundesliga team.

It will be interesting to see what the German side decides to do and how the Ligue 1 champions go about improving their midfield for next season.
