Arsenal Push for Swift Resolution in Pursuit of PSG Target as Chelsea and Man Utd Circle

Paris Saint-Germain will have to find other avenues for goal-scoring with Kylian Mbappé’s departure this summer. One of the players the capital club is reportedly eyeing is RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško.

On Saturday, journalist Ben Jacobs shared that the 21-year-old’s variable release clause has now increased to £55 million.

Additionally, it’s been reported that Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and PSG are still keen on signing Šeško. Among them, Arsenal and Chelsea have made the most significant progress.

Nonetheless, it seems the Gunners don’t want to wait around for an answer. According to Sky Germany (h/t The Mirror), Arsenal want to complete a quickfire deal for Šeško after he gave his approval to a move.

The Premier League team aims to finalize the deal within the next two weeks. It’s believed that everyone involved wants his future sorted out before Euro 2024.

The Slovenian goal-scorer is under contract with Leipzig until 2028 and scored 18 goals and registered two assists in 42 appearances for the German side this past 2023-24 season.
