Manchester United have an interest in Manuel Ugarte to bolster their midfield this summer. Reports suggest that PSG rejected a proposal from the Red Devils due to the bid being too low for the Uruguayan.
Ugarte has been linked with moves to Serie A clubs like AC Milan and Juventus, but interest is also growing beyond Italy’s borders and Manchester United’s interest. Another club that have the 23-year-old on their radar is Atlético Madrid.
However, the Premier League side and AC Milan have received good news since the Spanish club aren’t making any significant progress on the player.
According to Diario AS, the club’s sports management is unaware that manager Diego Simeone has contacted Ugarte to convince him to play for Atlético. The Spanish club is interested in the PSG midfielder but nothing more.

In May, the 23-year-old spoke about his future and noted his desire to stay, so it will be interesting to see if that happens or whether PSG cuts ties after one season.
“We’ll see,” Ugarte told Amazon Prime. “I would love to [stay at PSG]. We’ll have to see. For now, I’m here and enjoying the end of the season.”
