Liverpool are one of the top European clubs aiming to sign LOSC Lille defender Leny Yoro. Still, the Reds face tough competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid for the Frenchman this summer.
Despite being young, Yoro played in 44 matches for Les Dogues in the 2023-24 season, proving he’s ready to take on the starting center-back role.
However, with only a year left on his contract, there’s speculation he might be sold this summer if he doesn’t agree to an extension. Nonetheless, the Premier League might be the third choice for the player in a highly contest race.
Journalist David Lynch reports that unless Yoro is fully convinced by Liverpool’s sporting project, it’s unlikely he would choose Anfield over Real Madrid or PSG this summer, as those clubs can offer the lucrative contracts Liverpool might not be able to match.
