Paris Saint-Germain host Toulouse FC at the Parc des Princes on Sunday and with the Ligue 1 title already secured, all eyes were on Kylian Mbappé.
The Frenchman announced last Friday in a social media video that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season when his contract expires, most likely to join Real Madrid. There’s been an outpouring of support for Mbappé, who has been at PSG since 2017, but there are some who question the way he ran down his contract and the lack of communication from the player of the past couple of years.
In his last home match as a PSG player, the players were announced as is customary, and when Mbappé’s image was shown and his name echo around the Parc des Princes, the reaction was mixed to say the least.

There are some cheers, but certainly quite a few boos and whistles. The PSG Ultras raised a tifo of Mbappé’s likeness, and the player and supporter groups got together at the stadium before the match for a BBQ.
Mbappé is PSG’s all-time leading scorer, however, he was unable to lead PSG to the UEFA Champions League final this season, going down 2-0 on aggregate to Borussia Dortmund.
