When his contract expires, Kylian Mbappé will leave Paris Saint-Germain in a few weeks. The 25-year-old is likely to join Real Madrid in July once he becomes a free agent, but the Spanish club might want to get ahead of the presentation.
It’s a matter of when the La Liga side will announce the arrival and provide the presentation of Mbappé. While the player’s contract doesn’t expire until June 30th, Real Madrid want to do the presentation earlier, considering UEFA Euro 2024 will be ongoing this summer.
According to MARCA’s José Félix Díaz, Real Madrid are currently considering potential dates to introduce Mbappé at the Santiago Bernabéu. They’re eyeing a window between June 3 and 9, pending approval from PSG. It seems they’re aiming to arrange it before the Euros rather than afterward.

Since the player will still technically be with PSG until July 1, it makes sense that Los Blancos must have permission from the Ligue 1 side to go through with this reported plan.
While it’s easy for PSG to play petty, it might be ideal to get this over with as soon as possible and allow all parties involved to close this chapter and move on.
