On Friday, Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé made it official: he’s parting ways with the club once his contract wraps up next month.
In a heartfelt address lasting over three minutes, the 2018 FIFA World Cup champion expressed gratitude, acknowledged past missteps, professed his affection for the team, and, not surprisingly, revealed plans for “a new challenge” ahead.
Now, the transfer saga enters its final chapter as the world eagerly awaits the official announcement of his signing with Real Madrid. RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reports the financial agreement between the Frenchman and the Spanish giants.
According to Hawkins, Mbappé is set to become Real Madrid’s top earner, surpassing both Vinicius and Jude Bellingham in salary. Additionally, he’ll secure remarkable image rights at the club, though any formal confirmation won’t come until after the Champions League final.
