Real Madrid Holds Key Advantage Over PSG in Race for French Star’s Immediate Transfer

The transfer battle to land LOSC Lille’s Leny Yoro appears to be between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. Nonetheless, the Spanish giants are attempting to accelerate their pursuit of the player.

The young center-back should start considering his future soon because his contract with Lille ends in 2025. If he’s not interested in renewing it, the Ligue 1 side will have to think about selling him this summer.

A recent report revealed that the Spanish giants have already put forward a proposal of €30 million fixed, plus an additional €10 million in incentives for Yoro. Furthermore, The Athletic’s Mario Cortegana reports that the La Liga side are pushing for Yoro because they want the player now and not in 2025.

Les Dogues’ reported economic demands reach €60 million, so Los Blancos will need to find economic common ground with the French club. Still, Real Madrid have one advantage over PSG as Cortegana notes that Lille would rather sell to the La Liga side instead of the Parisians and keep him in France.
