PSG Set Sights on Arsenal and Chelsea Targets to Replace Kylian Mbappé, Bolster Attack

Kylian Mbappé will reportedly leave to join Real Madrid as a free agent, so the capital club must replace his production. Paris Saint-Germain will have to close the Frenchman’s chapter, and now the capital club are eyeing other goal scorers this summer.

As PSG prepares to rebuild a team capable of winning the UEFA Champions League, the departure of Mbappé poses a significant challenge. Sporting advisor Luis Campos, however, has his eye on two potential replacements.

According to Le Parisien (h/t Paris Fans), PSG have targeted two players to strengthen its attack this summer: Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyökeres.

Securing both of those players is going to be a tough task for the Ligue 1 side. Chelsea are particularly interested in Osimhen to strengthen their attack, especially following a disappointing Premier League season in 2023-24. The Nigerian goal scorer has appeared in 30 games this season, registering 15 goals and four assists for the Serie A side.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are linked to Gyökeres, who is having a surprising campaign that has caught the attention of top European clubs. The Swedish striker has appeared in 47 matches for Sporting this season, scoring 41 goals and recording 15 assists.
