Paris Saint-Germain are gearing up to fill the gap left behind with Kylian Mbappé’s departure in the upcoming weeks. The name that’s constantly surfacing in the media is Napoli standout Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Kvaratskhelia, who is reportedly on FC Barcelona’s radar, is the top target for the Parisians to replace the Frenchman. The 23-year-old has appeared in 44 matches across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and registering nine assists.
Likely knowing that the Georgian player will be in high demand, especially with the potential of a terrific showing at UEFA Euro 2024, the Ligue 1 side are making an aggressive push to land the player.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG have made an offer of €100 million to Napoli for Kvaratskhelia, who’s under contract with the Serie A side until 2027. Even with this massive offer, the Italian club wants to take a different direction.

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is trying to resist and is still negotiating an extension (offer of €4 million + bonuses, demand of €5 million base salary). Still, if these negotiations don’t advance it will be interesting to see if De Laurentiis can no longer withstand avoiding a potential fee of this magnitude.
