Paris Saint-Germain will have representation at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris as a key defender will represent their country in hopes of winning a gold medal.
While the focus is on Kylian Mbappé and whether or not Real Madrid will give him the green light to play for France in his hometown, PSG have permitted one of their players to take part in the summer games.
L’Equipe reports that PSG are giving Achraf Hakimi the green light to play for Morocco in the Paris 2024 Olympics this summer. Hakimi is eager to participate, and the club won’t be stopping him.

Hakimi and Morocco had a successful run in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, reaching the semifinals. However, The Atlas Lions couldn’t replicate that success at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations as they crashed out in the Round of 16 to South Africa.
As a result, Morocco will be looking for a bounce-back performance in the Olympics and come away with a medal to build momentum for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will see Hakimi and Co. host the tournament.
